Chicago is expected to experience unusually warm temperatures on Friday, with the National Weather Service forecasting a high of 67 degrees. This temperature approaches the city’s March 6 record of 70 degrees, set in 2000.
Thursday will remain foggy with drizzle in the morning and early afternoon, and temperatures are only expected to get as high as 39 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
However, rain showers and possibly a thunderstorm are likely Friday morning, with continued chances for rain throughout the day. The forecast also calls for cloudy skies and wind gusts reaching up to 25 mph.
Saturday’s weather will continue to be warm, with an anticipated high of 60 degrees. Rain showers could occur in the morning along with cloudy conditions and wind gusts up to 30 mph.
Sunday is predicted to reach a high of 57 degrees and be sunny. Monday should also be sunny and warm, with highs near 67 degrees.
